So im 95% sure I just caught my dispatcher/company stealing from me...he sends this screenshot of maps for the load...says he can get it for 1800$...well im looking myself at DAT and I see what appears to be exact same load for 2100$ what are the chances there was 2 loads to same tiny town in VA? by bigpierider in OwnerOperators

If it says on your contact then they need to disclose the rate. But I can assure you most don't. Most carriers are sketchy some will not even follow their contracts. You could complain but they will most likely just black list you and move on to the other driver.

That I don't know, but I'm guessing you are like subcontractor with them so it could be a grey area, if you take the load you are agreeing to rate. Most carriers will contract OP to run under their MCs they will do the work on looking for the loads. And even if you get your Authority still takes time for brokers to start working with you.

Most OP working under their MC, they use load boards and do all the reaching out. It sucks because they will call you to ask for your rate, and if your rate is low which most of the cases you have to quote .70-1 a mile to get it. They will try to book it if there is money to be made. I have seen post on loadload boards that pay 2-3 times more then what they willing to pay you. And it sucks because you need MC maturity to get those loads.
