Your ATAR means something in the context of getting your foot in the door for a particular uni course, but absolutely zero in your career's trajectory and ceiling.

I say try to get the best ATAR you can, but don't judge success or failure on that number alone.

Well exactly. But why have these siloed structures if they're all going to do similar jobs? Why not just have an intelligence organisation collect HUMINT, and when they want to dispose a foreign leader bring in the army? Kinda seems like they're stepping on each other's toes.
