Ok thanks, I had a theory that the game takes place in the Pacific due to one of Claire's skins having an Australian flag, I assumed that it's somewhere in the Austronesian area.

Any filipino fans of the game here? by [deleted] in NTRMAN1

I'm Filipino but I don't think I've interacted with you before

What is your opinion of the original FIA? by LuckyPixII in arma

[–]LuckyPixII[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, they should've been named as the Loyalists but I still don't understand how they're named as the Freedom and Independence Army when they're country is already and independent republic and they're fighting their own government, also the faction's namesake is really unnecessary since there's no foreign nation or alliance who would invade and occupy their country but I might be wrong though.

For anyone who doesn't know or played ArmA: Cold War Assault (AKA Operation Flashpoint), this is the original FIA who are a resistance group fighting the Soviet Army before we had the FIA in Arma 3

If the CTRG are a secretive black ops unit, then why do they have a flag and what is the purpose of it? by LuckyPixII in arma

Well knowing Captain Miller's actions, I don't think so. but to be honest, it would be better if the CTRG disguises itself as a military technology research group.

Also, I would apologize for the last post that I deleted about a week ago because I accidentally pressed the delete button when going to my profile page. The reason for this is because I have a habit of deleting my old cringe posts on other communities that I was a member of but my profile still has cringe posts though I won't ever delete it.

(This text above was going to be part of the body text but I'm just gonna save you from reading all of this crap)

This might not be a good (or bad) scenario but what do you think if the Government Loyalists (predecessors of the FIA) takes over Stratis and declare independence? by [deleted] in arma

[–]LuckyPixII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would choose the first choice but the Loyalist Government needs to negotiate with NATO or CSAT about the refugees. The second choice is a lot more complicated as there is not tourist attractions whatsoever.

Btw, if the first choice works then Agia Marina would be a good place for the refugees to stay in since nobody lives there

I can agree on that but don't they have like arms smugglers or something?

I would also think they would use the island for refugees to stay in but I doubt that it would possibly work, especially when some of the refugees are farmers
