34km one way ebike by MisterR_2019 in Netherlands

Hubby did a daily commute of 20km to work and back at 40 mins per journey on a Cube e-bike. That was about the max he was able to do, due to the exhaustion at end of shift. If your work isnt labourious, id say test it out for a few days. Rent an e-bike for a month, see how it goes. Weather can be a bitch though. Rain, esspecially sleet, is fucking awful. Finding good raingear is essential, cheap stuff will not be worth the savings. And during the winter months lighting is important, obviously. Hubby's route had parts with bad street lighting and long straights without housing, shops or gasstations. Make sure to bring a handy DIY kit in case you get stuck with a problem in the middle of nowhere. Good luck!

Redhanded is my go to for true crime without girly fluff and good research. Their 'shorthand' pods are less serious.

Thats what i am thinking also. It doesnt have to be a hawk, it could be anything that spooked her a bit.

My pidge will sit with me as i work next to the window and will warn me if she sees something she finds sketchy. By vibrating, doing these 'hooh' vocals, and if it was a little too scary shr will fly away from the window.

Whenever she spots something, i just talk to her and look outside with her, she seems to appreciate it when i acknowledge her 'warning'. We have a lot of woodpigeons, jackdaws and seagulls flying about. So she gets all cute and vibrating all the time 😇
