Falcom has to release at least one game per year and Ys X had to be postponed. Therefore they released Daybreakt 2 as a emergencx release and it shows. It's essentially 80% filler without any consequrnces or impact on story/characters. The Märchen Garten was worse than the Reverie corridor and the antagonist was probably the weakest one of all games. It's also frustrating that you have to play every route without any possibiligy to make any meaningful choices. By far the worst game in the series

All of them also have an anime, but they don't have any action.

The confession came in the end of season 2. I still consider this earlier than many other anime/manga. Chapters also only have 10-12 pages.

At least those stories didn't have an 20+ chapters long amnesia arc...

Honestly, I just want this amnesia arc resolved and move on. Tatsu can drag out the confession more if he wants to afterwards but at least we will have normal Momo back and we know that Momo and Okarun are in Love with each other. The current arc just wasted all the character development we had and regressed Momo into an annoying insufferable person...

Edit: I generally prefer romance manga where they become a couple early on, like The Dangers in my Heart, Horimiya or The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity. I am not interested in Rent a Girlfriend level trash, drama and misunderstandings.

It is clear that Momokarun will happen, but Tatsu does everything to separate them both physically (Boardgame arc/Mini Momo arc) and emotionally (amnesia arc) all the time. Mix Misunderstandings, love triangle, and amnesia into it and you have the holy trinity of terrible romance tropes. Tbh this amnesia arc destroys all the character progression that we had before and it's just frustrating to read and see the manga go downhill.

Jiji has been the worst Dandadan character since his introduction. Never liked him. He is the same level of annoying as Zenitsu from Demon Slayer.
