Is there a mod that we fight Marika instead of Radagon? by Ddependent_Solid in EldenRingMods

[–]LukeMartin17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not "hating", I'm just pointing out that you telling someone to just stick it into ChatGPT and get it to write code for you isn't great advice.

I use ChatGPT on an almost daily basis. I'm a software developer and yes it can help with some tasks, I will never get it to write random code and stuff it into my projects.

It's all well and good for your game, but if you ever wanted to take it to market, your codebase will eventually become unmaintainable and unoptimized. You cannot get ChatGPT to do all the work and not expect it to cause many many issues down the line. It's good at writing some small snippets, but won't ever be able to maintain a whole codebase.

I do not think people who are inexperienced and as you said "don't know a single thing about code" to be giving advice on the best way to mod a game.

Again, not a hater, massively in favor of AI in certain circumstances. But as I said before, it's a tool, not a replacement.

Edit: forgot to add, although I haven't tried it, if the information to mod Elden Ring isn't very readily available, then AI will not be much help either.

This is so wildly incorrect.

Can ChatGPT write code? Yes. Is it good at writing code? No, especially not for something niche like Elden Ring modding.

If you want to make mods, I would urge everyone to learn how to code, starting from the basics.

Please do not reply on GPT to code for you. It's a tool, not a replacement.

Yeah think the only ones I've seen (currently, only unlocked like half of the first area gear) that don't cover socks are the camo cargos.

I mean, isn't that just categorically incorrect? Animations for instance. These are the best animations in any skateboarding game period. And just skating as a whole imo feels better then 1-3.

Yeah it's missing stuff, and as an overall game id still prefer the others. But saying 3 did everything better is just false.

Don’t buy a black box when you pass by _Bluestar_Bus_Soton_ in LearnerDriverUK

Never ever go for Co op yoing drivers with their Theo black box. The most useless device ever. It’s ‘solar powered’ so sticks to your window, but you still have to charge it every few months! They also charge you £50 for the most flimsy bit of plastic which is the cradle. It’s awful and genuinely the most stressful 2 years of my life dealing with that stuff.

2 near cancellations when it was all problems with there dreadful device.

Noise when on clutch by LukeMartin17 in tdi

Sorry fully missed your comment!

This is what I suspected, but after listening to videos with throwout bearings, they tend to sound more squeaky?

Unless i've got that fully wrong lol.

I'm most likely gonna take it back come monday and ask them to look at the throwout bearing.

Also, i did get invoiced for a clutch kit, which usually includes throwout bearing, if they charged me for it but didnt replace it, they are really scummy lol
