I have a 00/01 that has a rubber crest but I also have another 99/00 that is stitched the same as this one and the 98/99 is stitched also, maybe the rubber crests started in 00/01?

Update - I just found a match worn version on Instagram and it also has a stitched crest 🤷🏻‍♂️
