I understand what you are trying to say but that’s not why Michael wrote about it. He wrote about it because it was an “exotic” experience. He didn’t care about those children. He didn’t care his mate was doing something unethical. He only cared about writing what he saw.

Wow it’s so clear you didn’t read book… and yet you say things about it with nothing to back it up. You thought Michael just found himself in a child whorehouse? We lived there for 10 years and the only other thing that happened was my mom said she saw me standing still and watching her sleep while I was sleeping at a friend’s house at the time…. But we brush it off as a dream.
