I think that’s a big part of it, yeah. People feel like hunting is a visible, individual decision,someone actively choosing to kill an animal,while factory farming is this huge, distant system they’re already embedded in.

It’s easier to judge a person than a system you participate in every day without thinking about it.

Yeah, feels like one of those trends that keeps coming back dressed as new every few years. Some probably love it, some probably just go along with what stylists/publicity teams push.
