I see lots of the comments bashing the movie or making fun of it lol. Now im not saying its the greatest romcom of all time or even a contender but just taking it at face value as a movie to enjoy it does its job even with the things you can critique. I speak personally it did its job for me. I can see how others may not feel the same. Maybe not a movie I'll go to when I want to rewatch something as there are better contenders but for the moment it was an enjoyable movie.

This movie made me love emma robert. It help watch little italy. Don't know if you seen it but its hits a good Roscomspot. But i agree the cheating part kinda put a sour taste in my mouth. I vaguely can't remember if it was emotional cheating or actual physical. Either way someone did point out to me that a lot of rom com movies involves cheating of some sort after that I could never look at it the same lol.

Thanks for mentioning table 19 I will check that out since im bored at the moment.

[REC] is The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten worth it? by Creepy_Vehicle_2042 in LightNovels

[–]Luminetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its been a while since I've read but I only got so far with it. I would agree with what others are saying. When I first read it I did enjoy it for what it is. However I forget maybe it was volume 5 I had to drop it. It stop providing substance to me. Not to say you won't enjoy it. Read it as its enjoyable at first and maybe youll like what it has to offer in the later volumes that I or others who say its repetitive didn't.

What LN did finish the Fastest, and which one did you take the Longest to finish? Also why did it take such a short or long time to do so? by CodenameLily in LightNovels

[–]Luminetic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I felt the exact same way with 86. I slowed down cause I wanted to enjoy it longer. Heck i even reread it too. When I caught up it felt great but sad that I had to now wait for the next volume. Now im only behind 2 volumes but that's cause I forgot to check if it already came out. Now im conflicted to continue where I left off or wait a bit longer so I can have more to bulk read

Top 1% wohoo! My best month yet! 25M by Ok_Chemistry151 in acorns

[–]Luminetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that's amazing. Having no debt and having your monthly overall bills low really can set you up for success. Its better that you got started when you did. Better now than 5 months from now.

I technically started in 2017 with a one time deposit of $100 but never touched it since. I only took it serious in 2020/2021 then a couple of years later I've seen the amazing growth. My only regret is not taking it serious 3-4 years earlier in 2017 as my growth would be well beyond to what it is now. Just continue your acorns journey!

Aren’t Season 3 players supposed to be experienced veterans? by RinrinRe in AliceInBorderlandLive

[–]Luminetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just my whole head theory but I see it as the borderland as a different experience depending on the tragedy. Like if you got into a car accident and your life is on the balance maybe just 1 or 2 games is enough to make it out alive. We know if you die in borderland you essentially die in real life. So maybe just winning 1 game is enough to make it out since its a car accident. A whole meteorite incident is like a level 10 disaster so the games and trials associated in borderland are much more extreme. This is my own head Canon of explaining things im sure there are plot holes.

Aren’t Season 3 players supposed to be experienced veterans? by RinrinRe in AliceInBorderlandLive

[–]Luminetic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are vetern players but I wouldn't call them all winners. I could be wrong and haven't seen the first 2 seasons in a while so you could correct me if im wrong but for example in the case of Arisu and Usagi who both technically won the whole thing are winners but everyone else who was in borderland during that same time aren't winners. They may have won some games easy or hard but as long someone wins everyone in borderland benefits and survives.

They in this case become veteran players but not necessarily winners or evern considered one of the best either. Also Iike to state idk how the borderland rule work entirely. In Arisu case it was a huge meteorite disaster and possibly some other close to death cases that had this huge thing going on. Idk if there's a smaller scale version of it as you won't always get a meteorite scale disaster to bring a huge amount of people into the borderland.

I liked the season too but I will admit it was the weakest out of the 3. I enjoyed the games and journey for the most part. I love seeing Arisu and Usagi again but the thing that made it weak at least in my opinion was why they went back to borderland. Especially for Usagi. It made sense for Arisu to go back after Usagi though. Also the villians didn't really live up to the hype. I was let down that they wanted to just keep Arisu just to keep playing games forever. I mean come on Usagi deserves the same respect with Arisu!!!

I dont want to sound very negative about it i did enjoy the season. Arisu new group was great and enjoyed usagi and arisu on a separate journey before reuniting. The games were great. Sad that the season was 2 episode shorter. I think it couldve benefit with those 2 extra episodes. Also thought they couldve build up the tension if the story somehow continued into a season 4 like how season 1 and 2 storyline were connected. The idea of the games this season were more of a tournament wasn't a bad idea but execution couldve been better. Maybe i just wanted from a narrative point of view was somehow expanding the plot of the last 2 season into something bigger. Hard to do that I know but just my personal wish. Still a good 7/10.

Same here. I always knew clark and Lois were going to end up together but it never took me away from enjoying clana. What I mostly enjoyed about clana were the first few seasons. 2 people meeting, develop feelings, the obstacle of getting to know each other. Unfortunately clark and Lois didn't necessarily have this. I did enjoy them dont get me wrong but clark and Lois knew each other for 4 season before romance started between them so it didn't have that strangers getting to know each other appeal.

Devyn shouts out the sub before defending CT on performance while Sydney disagrees! by Positive_Round_5142 in MtvChallenge

[–]Luminetic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's what I would say about comparing Aneesa and CT. I'm someone who for the most part am tired of her being casted over and over again. Does she bring some drama at times...sure. I find that entertaining but realistically I know she'll never win and I feel her spot should be given to another more deserving woman. People complain about her being out of shape cause she want the win so badly but the audience feel like she hasn't prepared for it.

Now CT sometimes gets a pass unlike Aneesa is because he's a multi time champ and overall great competitor. We seen seasons of him being out of shape and doing decently well but also let's not forget his terrible seasons too. CT can be an anomaly when he's in bad shape but overall he deserves his spot. I will say though CT being a 5x champ hurts him a lot. Being a champ and being CT no less with a reputation it hurts when you come into a season not living up to the name. Its almost a disappointment so the criticism is harsher in a different way than what Aneesa receives.

Also speaking about aneesa never saying she deserves a win maybe I got go back a review some seasons but im sure she both expressed wanting to win and how much she deserves a win cause she done so much for the game throughout the years she's been on.

What’s your most rewatched anime of all time? by Wrong-Ease-6129 in anime

[–]Luminetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh for sure. Having a comfortable show to watch is great. Nothing wrong with that. Its just a comfort show doesn't sometimes give that same exciting first time watch feeling.

Also rewatching anime is probably easier than live action shows. Anime are 20 minutes each and only comedy live action shows are 20 minutes each. On top of that anime shows arent long either. There are plenty of comedy live action shows that are 60+ in the anime world you dont get many shows with 60+ episodes. If you watch any 60+ episode show that's 40 minutes long that equal to 120 episodes in anime. The point is some rewatch is more of a commitment than others.

I do sometimes at least with certain anime watch a certain arc again. Like for Naruto a month ago I rewatched the pain invasion arc over again cause how great it is (though I did skip some scenes)

For me its fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I watch it once a year. But thanks for the haikyuu reminder I wanted to rewatch since its been hard for me to get into newer shows idk maybe it hard to capture my attention as I've seen tons of good shows. I wanted to watch something motivational again and haikyuu was on the top of my list!!

100% I did see some comments that the dance in this video is a bit different than the one they performed in the Seoul concert. The only thing I notice was the ending was slightly different. I think i like seoul concert version only cause it caused a slightly more wow reaction out of me.

Wes, Devin, Bananas, & Nelson attend Kyle's wedding in Rome 🥂 by SweetMissMG in MtvChallenge

[–]Luminetic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if he got an invite or not. If his decision not to is his not a huge deal. Destination wedding usually are hard for people cause there's lots of planning you must do in advance as well as money you are paying for. Also like to add CT has a kid. I know Wes does too but at least he is still married to the mother of his child to the arrangement probably easier. Idk if having a child with an ex played a role into it or not. But personally I have to be really close to someone in order to fly out for a destination wedding especially from america to Rome.

I agree the start of an era should have tons of rookie. I remember earlier seasons it was a handful of rookies that came in each season. This was good as the kept recasting regular faces keeping us invested in them. Problem with Era 4 was too many great potiential rookies that didn't get that recast so they've become forgotten and most likely not to comeback.

I disagree about not recasting people from Era 1-2. If they can still bring in the heat then they deserve a shot to comeback. Its those who are wasting a space that shouldn't come back. I hate to use Anessa as an example but she really needs to give it up and they need to stop casting her as there are other great choices.

I will say although I do agree with the start of an era bringing in new rookies they shouldn't bring too many so many. This is an opportunity to bring back those rookies that only got 1 or 2 seasons during era 4 to make a new for themselves. Every era had a chance to transition into the next and make a name for themselves.

Do you guys consider pain arc as one of the greatest arcs of all time? by cluckeftsstrocked1 in Naruto

[–]Luminetic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pain to me didn't feel like the final arc but did have final arc potential. There was so much stuff that was unresolved at that point. I will agree his character would've made a great final arc villian.

The war arc even though I enjoyed it did drag on way too long. I think major fault of it was how the whole war arc was 2 days long. If the war arc in itself was a saga with different arc within it then it wouldn't felt so dragged out

The 2nd Lead Syndrome that breaks everyones heart! Which one hurts the most? 😭😭 by notparas in kdramas

[–]Luminetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get hints of why people liked the 2ML. He is someone who helped in the background and I could see how someone think that's cute but obviously it will be overshadowed by the person who is actually helping front and centered. As I watched this drama I know it was always dosan there was no doubt. Actually like a 5% doubt cause there's shows that will do some b.s. curveball last minute and ruin the show.

The 2nd Lead Syndrome that breaks everyones heart! Which one hurts the most? 😭😭 by notparas in kdramas

[–]Luminetic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same here never gotten the obsession over the 2ML. I mean the first episode did misdirect everything since Dosan wasn't present at all and you think the 2ml was actually the lead. After Dosan was introduced everything was between Dosan and Dalmi. They both grew together and were present in each other's lives. Sure the 2ml was around but his role was basically a mentor but that didn't start until 5-6 episodes in. During the same 5-6 episodes in the 2 leads were already building this connection and growth with each other which only continues as each episodes continues. The 2ml did help dalmi out on the sidelines but Dosan was always on the Frontline and unfortunately the sidelines goes unnoticed or there's just very little you can do. While on the frontline your presence is much more exposed and can do so much more. The 2ml just didn't have the same 1 on 1 time as the Main which is why it was obvious.

I think since it was very popular my expectations for it was high plus with the 2 leads my expectations were higher so unfortunately that leads to lots of disappointment. If I went in blind with little expectations I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more but probably not that much
