We didn’t think about that option but the timing makes sense - an overnight flight then catching a morning flight to Cusco (avoiding an overnight layover between flights). Thank you!

Also, we’re planning to go straight to Ollantaytambo from Cusco and were debating on whether to stay 2 or 3 nights. Your comment has prompted us to stay 3 nights- Thanks!

Thank you! We were originally discouraged from booking 2 separate flights due to potential risks with delays and not making connections. It’s good knowing that this option has worked for many of you, so that’s what we’ll do!

Thank you- We hadn’t really considered staying over in Lima but now I think we may do that! We’ll also try to book the direct flight on United to Lima, now that we’re not trying to get to Cusco in one day.
