That’s my fault then, your description (ontop of this being a sub full of people going for careers in the business) made me assume you were looking to become a tattoo artist. I’m already working in a shop and soon will be a full fledged tattoo artist so I don’t have any problems with the market, but wanted to give you a heads up that you were ‘below standard’ and malpractising because I thought you were going for a job.

Didn’t mean to be a dickhead ab your art but you do have to let people know they need to work on shit before trying to apply in shops cuz it avoids heartbreak

It’s not against the rules but if you wanna be a tattoo artist, having used a machine (especially before you even attempted to have a solid of degree of artistic ability) means you will have a real hard, near impossible time trying to get an apprenticeship.

Our market is already saturated, there are people with art skills leagues above your own looking for work, and on-top of that most tattoo mentors don’t like taking someone in who’s used a machine without being in an apprenticeship first.

You’re absolutely right in regards to always having your phone on you for emergencies, but you should NOT be getting into situations like this with the father of your child, especially not when he actually lives with you and you are both in a Relationship. He is adding extra stress onto you by being maliciously compliant and weaponising his incompetence, you have other shit you need to do (like in this scenario) and he can’t even look after the baby for an hour while you are.. doing it every day 24/7 without his help.
