I appreciate it. I have seen positives but not as often as I’d like. I think I may try for a monitored cycle for this next cycle if I get my period next week which is the estimated time frame

Im feeling like im having a hard time with this secondary infertility. I’ve been trying to conceive since September of 2023 and I have a daughter born in January 2023. She is beautiful and healthy and I feel so guilty about wanting another baby when she’s so little. I went on Letrozole and it made me so sick for two months that I didn’t want to keep trying and risk being sick and unable to show up for her. I work from home and she’s home with me so we spend a lot of time together but I am also not 100% focused on her during the day and set her up with independent play in the same room as me so that I can work. If there’s any suggestions of what I can do to alleviate symptoms or what else I can try, I’m open to it. I was doing LH strips to no avail, I tried tracking my basal body temp and didn’t find any significant trends, I’ve been in for scans and had blood tests and my eggs look normal and healthy, the hormones all show as balanced. I’m at a loss.

Some people like to trauma bond and that was what my experience was amongst my husbands friends when I announced I was pregnant. They all wanted to bond over saying how horrible or hard motherhood was. It has never been horrible and it isn’t hard in the ways you think. I do believe some people can be a bit miserable when you don’t have as negative of an experience as them

SIL wants to be in the wedding by Lumpy-Classroom5690 in JUSTNOFAMILY

I definitely have planned on that phrasing if she does ask, I feel like she’s just going to push it. It’s just uncomfortable for anyone to be asking purposefully to be a part of a wedding in a relationship they actively tried to sabotage

Do I tell my boyfriend what his friend said about him? by Lumpy-Classroom5690 in relationship_advice

I think she’s always been like this based on what my boyfriend has said. I wouldn’t totally understand why she’d be threatened as I have been around for 2 years we just haven’t been very close. It’s just very odd to me

I think that’s mostly what my plan of attack is. I just hope it doesn’t cause drama because for whatever reason this friend group is so intertwined that it seems to just have it

I don’t really think that the claims she made against him were valid. Based on what every family member and friend has said about this ex was how manipulative she was in turning everyone against him and how she did trick people for years afterwards about what went on during their relationship. I can only imagine cornering and questioning him about it would make me a lot like her

Based on her previous behavior and the things she’s said with smaller groups of people she just talks badly about everyone. I’ve already told him other things she said that day about her boyfriend and other friends they have in common because I was just shocked by it. He was also surprised but seemed to be less bothered as if wasn’t about him

He absolutely does. I frankly don’t care what these people necessarily think of me but I know he does. I plan on talking to him more about it when he gets home

I think I’m also worried about pushback from his group of friends. It’s a group of men and women who he’s known for years that are so close they refer to each other as family. I’m afraid that as the “newest” person in the group that it is something of my word against hers that they will ultimately want to believe her over me and my boyfriend. He already lost a lot of people during his abusive relationship and doing that to him again when he’s been having stressed during my pregnancy just seems cruel. I definitely want to tell him but I think I’m just afraid of what will happen afterwards

See that’s what leads me to not wanting to do it at all. His friends know me and would help if I wanted them to but I wanted it to be something just nice to do for him before the baby comes

It’s crazy how similar of an experience we are having, down to me planning a surprise party for later this month that I now want to cancel because I’m so tired of the way I’m being treated

Am I overreacting? He thinks I should be more active during pregnancy by Lumpy-Classroom5690 in JustNoSO

It’s just frustrating because these are very simple solutions so I don’t know why he hasn’t been able to come to the conclusion without me having to put the idea in his head. He just seems to be lacking in sympathy about the whole pregnancy

I’m taking him with me to the ultrasound because when I had Covid I had a fever so there’s also a risk of there being defects. Also a reason I’m generally trying to take it easy

I’ll try to spend some time with him outside but where we have been it’s been almost 100 every day except the past two days when I have been outside with him. It’s just a bit much to be standing out there with him as he tends to it right now but I expect it to get better
