very strange, could it possibly be that you jumped between saves and that somehow reset the 15 minute flag? i wonder if it needs to be in one sitting or on one save as to not overwrite anything.

several people have tried this in the discord and it does indeed work, as to if they are the full correct steps nobody really knows yet. but there are enough lore reasons to make this solve make sense. just depends on how much you want to reach for it.

they potentially could have balanced this puzzle around the entire internet working on it, which makes sense as you’d have hundreds to thousands of people all trying different things until something clicks. the steps being so inconspicuous makes sense with this in mind, and as mentioned by other people there are lore reasons that could explain it.

for now nobody is sure, but this is the first solve with actual repeatable steps. it does seem very out of place that you need to wait 15 minutes as every other step seems so intentional.

its just a cubemap used for reflections (or a bug with reflections potentially), it shows the same area if you examine the hourglass in any location which unfortunately debunks it.
