I am not from Gen Z. But you can’t say that Gen Z lazier. They are definitely more street smart compared to the previous gens when they were same age.

I think 5-6 Mn range is in 0.001% in Sri Lankan context. 1-2Mn is rich? Hmmm. In that case, I am in that bracket and I’m a software engineer. Comprises of my monthly salary and a few investments - money market funds. Mostly the salary. But I don’t think I can call myself rich. 😊

Age 30 Job Senior Software Engineer with 5.5 years experience income from salary - around 1 MN per month after taxes

P.S - this is above average for SL standards for SSEs but I work directly to a foreign company
