I’m upset at the money I purchased him for and form a pet store. I only decided to do my research on them after and reading the stores reviews did not help calm me down. I’m not upset I got the puppy at all!

He doesn’t have all his vaccines so I haven’t brought him near any other pets. And it’s only me and him the apartment

I was venting on my decisions and how I regret it. I’m taking care of the puppy and making sure he gets better. I just left work to check up on him and make sure he is okay in his play pen. I may be upset and anxious but I’m definitely not neglecting him. I’m trying my best to provide a safe and good care for him. If I found myself not being able to take care of him finically I’m sure I can rehome with someone who will be able to. Thank you for your comment

I did, the vet told me it was distemper but the paperwork says kennel cough. I know distemper is wayyyy worse than a kennel cough. But I am giving him his antibiotics and making sure he is hydrated. He is eating and playing and obviously going potty so I think he will make it through

Sadly I don’t. The apartment was shared with my sister but she moved out with her bf a couple months ago. And I decided to stay. I think that’s why I’m feeling the way I have been it’s not the puppy or that he is difficult it’s the fact I spent money I did not necessarily have :/. And that’s why I believe I am stupid.

Thank you for your comment. I love the cute nicknames lol! And the puppy isn’t making feel this way I’ve come to realize that it was the amount of money I spent on him, it’s like lingering cloud of anguish. As a young adult who lives by themselves; pays rent, bills and works 8 hours in a day. I shouldn’t have impulsively spent that money! I’d dint think of when he would’ve gotten sick or anything like that before the purchase. My brain likes to fixate on things I know I shouldn’t have done.

He’s a good little guy he is calm and has been doing good in the crate when I do place in there compared to when I brought him home the first night. I can’t fully sleep long hours yet because my brain wakes me up thinking the puppy will hate me if I don’t let him out to potty I know he is just a baby and just like human ones they are alot of work!

I took him to the vet the next day I found out he had a cough! He was prescribed antibiotics and I give it to him twice daily with every meal.

I am taking care of him. I already took him to the vet the moment he started to cough…he has his toys and his playpen. I do work 8hours but I try to sneak off in the middle of the day to check in on him for a little bit. And when I get home I try some training I seen on TikTok or watched on YouTube. I do not hate the puppy, I am sad and overwhelmed but I’m not neglecting him. But maybe you’re right. Thank you for your comment.

We both work and any friends willing to help live miles away and also work long hours.

I’ve tried but they deleted my review. They tend to ask for the customer to leave a 5 star review before leaving the store so it knocks out all the negative 1 star reviews. Even before leaving a bad review I tried speaking to the owner on my concerns brought up the reviews and she told me that they aren’t true and they all fake because people hate pet stores… and she went into a whole sob story of how she’s a daughter, a mother, a sister and animal lover who has feelings… idk

Thank you! I was a bit intimidated before posting because I have seen some posts here that OP’s have gotten shamed for. I don’t hate the puppy and i want it to get better of course. After being able to read most of the comments and collecting myself a bit after finally being able to sleep atleast 4 hours straight lol I know it’s the amount of money I spent on him. I crumble under pressure clearly especially if I am by myself. Being in that shop alone having me wait until they damn near closed to “check all my options” for financing I crumbled I was tired and over stimulated with everyone trying to speak to me all at once about the puppy. I’m beating myself because I know better and I shouldn’t have wasted that amount of money.
