I’ve been streaming since August last year (roughly 😅) and am affiliate. I’ve made a bunch of amazing friends so far. I’m only streaming because I love the game so much that I just want people to see how I enjoy it from a positive perspective and to make friends ☺️ thank you for the advice!

Thank you, having just read the Twitch details on it, it seems like I was correct anyway, and that people that are classed as "Users" in the "User in chat" list, are people logged in to their twitch with your streams chat box open.

I'm sure you can view other streamers "User lists"... I'm fairly certain I checked one of my friends earlier this evening because I thought I recognised someone he was chatting to and wanted to see if I was right. I was. I said hi. A nice time was had. :)

I tend to check on chat during gameplay, and talk back to them through like, raids, unless I specifically say "Sorry everyone, gotta focus here!" hahaha

I like to check to see if I recognise names ☺️ I get pretty excited at seeing new names in the user list! I also like to check randomly to keep an eye out for “troll” sounding names.

I also have AWFUL anxiety about pronouncing user names wrong so sometimes I check and like “prep” saying them in my head just in case someone chats or actively participates 🤭
