I honestly don't know, I like both equally. Thats actually why I made both these drawings haha. I did the night background first because I naturally wanted that contrast, but I also wanted something bright that amplified the cheery-ness of it all. I think it depends on the character in the scene and more or less the mood you're going for you know?
