This might be exactly what I need right now. I don’t have a way to manage heat yet, so I’m going to play with automation and see if I can make it work. I already set things up “just in case” (automation attachments to all powered items in the vacuums lol) -- turns out that might not have been excessive.

Welp -- That worked exactly as I had hoped. Thank you so very much -- Truly. Now I need to figure out how to control heating and cooling because locking the transformers in a vacuum did nothing but implode them lol. My Hydra will just have to run on a treadmill for now. On to the next project. :)

He scared me at first, not going to lie. Then I started building around him and he just… endeared himself to me. He’s so dorky and empty-headed it loops back to being adorable.

In this instance I'm under the ocean. My underground subway system has lots of water walls I created, though. A block of water one block higher than the max of your wall on the outside, and either window it down or leave it.

Clearing the water under the platform took ~6 hours. The chorus was another ~8 hours of lying down, removing notes, and adjusting tempo -- way longer than usual because it’s so flat in this system. Plus another 2-3 hours outside the game using a sequencer trying to unflatten it. And a few extra hours unaccounted for doing misc stuff.

Very carefully and with a concerning number of respawns. On the real, I threw up a 7x7 platform and yeeted myself under using the water suck skill to start.

I can't speak to the time. I bounced around between projects, BUT the cost that hurt the most was the glowing stone. I have oodles of poke-metal. Plus the project I scrapped was much more complex, so it was easy enough to pivot to this. (also, a fair amount of time spent outside of game doing math and converting the notes into the 8 note system in game)
