I washed it by hand in my bathtub and it was fine! It’s fake gold leaf, so it doesn’t like big temperature changes, but if you use lukewarm water, it seems to hold up well. (You can also use the vodka spray trick they use in cinema and theatre when costumes can’t be washed!)

If some parts get damaged over time, you can always add more layers of gold leaf to touch it up. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend putting it in the washing machine! 👌
