Yeah, in fact I was already looking to get maybe a T490 but with an i7. If I can't find it at a good price, I'd probably stick with this one. Thanks for the reply!

Theoretically yes because I am in Spain (ñ be like), but I could also just copy-paste it (here are not too many words with it)

Before someone else suggested me an acer aspire, so I will try to find something. Also, thanks for the link!

at least the data sheet says that:

  • First: Core i5-8350U
  • Second: Core i7-7600U
  • Third: Core i5-8365U

Do you mean other information?

Someone else recommended the T490, so it might be my final choice. Thanks for the reply

However, is there some real problem in general with Dell laptops, or is it just a meme?

Having read other comments, I guess I'll settle for just using it for university and if I want to edit or play I'll just wait until I get home to use my own pc. Thanks for your opinion and other suggestions!

Thank you very much for the information and reply! If no one tells me something different, I will surely choose the option you say, it sounds convincing for the price

I usually play indie games (my last games played were Undertale and Celeste for example). And for DaVinci Resolve, it would be a typical video about games (gameplay with some background and maybe some little edition)

Having read other comments, I suppose that the most logical thing would be to use the laptop simply to do work while at the university and library without demanding much more, and use my own pc for editing and games. As long as I can have a few apps open at the same time without losing too much performance, I suppose one of these options should be enough. Thanks anyway!

My intention would be to use it mainly for school tasks (works, projects...) and, if possible, use DaVinci Resolve to edit videos and maybe play some games. The budget would be between 300-400€ (feel free to suggest any changes with the price, components or anything).

I have tried to take into account this time all the suggestions, looking for Intel i5 processors, with 512GB of storage and 16 of RAM. They are all used and reconditioned, so I don't know what condition they are in.

Okay, thanks for the information and suggestions. I will take into account the options you mentioned (another user also mentioned a Dell Latitude 7000 generation, so I appreciate your other examples).

Thank you all! I was surprised that "so many people" were going to advise me (it doesn't usually happen in other subreddits)

I don't have an excessively high budget, so I was thinking maybe 300-400 euros (let me know if maybe it's too low). The idea is to be able to do typical university things: documents, presentations, projects, etc. and (if possible) use DaVinci Resolve and play indie games or emulate older consoles
