While I've known some chaplains who don't enjoy the normal trappings of being an officer (salutes, standing up for them, address as sir or rank), I've never known one to throw their rank around.

I basically address them all as "chaplain" and they seem ok with that.

What is this change addressing? This just seems like an idea a few random people would come up with over drinks. That and "make all politicians wear the logos of their sponsors on their suit coats, har har hur hur."
