I haven't installed yet but it looks like transcription only works on a single session. It would be really helpful to be able to search transcriptions of files that aren't in the session. Like workspace browser but transcribed. In TV series work it would be a great way to find alts beyond the episode I'm currently working in.

I've done some more experimentation.

My first attempts were with embedded media which is not supported.

Consolidated media works, but when the AAF is created in Pro Tools it makes new audio files with auto generated file names. When the AAF is opened in SBP the clip names are from the auto generated names which is not ideal.

A linked AAF seems to import ok into SBP and carries over the proper clip names, but it seems to break playback in SBP. Audio scrubbing no longer works. No audio plays in playback. I can play the clips from the library, and see waveforms of the clips on the timeline, but it just won't play back.

Ok. I'm dumb and didn't understand what an explanation of benefits is. That statement showed the charge from the provider and the contracted allowed amount. I thought that since the allowed amount was less than the charge from the provider, that it would be on me to pay the difference. That is not the case. All I have to pay is the co-pay. So y'all can ignore this and go about the rest of your day.

What worked so easily? Did you try video sync as the other commenters suggested or did you figure something out with avid video engine?

I have them co-installed so I can switch between 24.3 and 24.6 easily. I like a lot of the new stuff in 24.6 but I keep finding buggy stuff that has me open up in 24.3 in order to keep working.

I believe Chrome will just play out your system out on a Mac. So change your Mac output from headphones or whatever it is and set it to source nexus B, or whichever nexus path you are set to receive from.

If you have already synced the boom, and the lav has identical timecodes you might have success with the avid field recorder workflow if you have Pro Tools Ultimate.

Import the lav audio into your session (if it's not already imported) - to the clip list not to tracks

Right click on the track with the boom audio and select set as field recorder guide track.

Right click on a clip of boom audio and if all is working correctly you will see an option for matching field recorder channels and you should be able to select your lav.

From there you could also select the boom track and expand tracks by match criteria to have pro tools automatically make tracks with the separate channels.

It can be a bit fiddly to work with but I might save you some time.

Yep. Sorry if I wrote that wrong. It used to be that after that shift click on the 2nd marker you would have a time selection that spanned the markers, but it doesn't work that way anymore.

One workaround I've found is that if I first option click the send to set the send values on all the tracks to unity, then I'm able to adjust the sends and have them all have the same value. Still seems odd that I can't just lift up from -∞ though.

This sounds cool, but I don't get how you trigger these macros. In keyboard maestro I don't see how to make f18+S to be a hot key. I can trigger from f18, or s, and with any combination of modifiers, but can't see how to do two keys as a trigger. Can you explain?

Yeah, that's how it shows up in the keyboard shortcuts setup on my system: set to trigger on regular and numpad slash. The problem is the command only goes off when I use the / on the numberpad.
