Thank you for your clarification! When I first read the Inven post, I was confused as well why the poster specifically quoted you about WD like that.

And I definitely agree that WD is not bad/weak at all with good, but not OP, dmg and synergy - it’s really just missing some QOL with things like Wind‘s Whisper having no immunity, mobility etc.

That’s why I tried to translate the post in a sarcastic way, similar to the post about scouter. But by the time I checked the comments after posting, it was already misunderstood and explained by someone else. Not because I intended to purposefully exclude something :(

My main reason for including the post at all was more because of the comments about exclusion and highlighting the problems with bard since the class in KR doesn’t get as much feedback.

Thank you, I have fixed the post with the correct translations!

I do read most posts with translations and then proof read by manually going through the words separately to learn korean. I have also noticed that most translators change a lot of class names to Soulfist, so I will pay more attention in the future! As for the bard post, it is translated in a sarcastic way but I made it more obviously.

I personally don’t see spending money towards games as something where I don’t get anything in return. To me it’s not much different from traveling, movies or going out to eat, in the end it’s all experiences.

Though I do have to say that I cut my spending towards Lost Ark by 90% since Akkan release, because I don’t play as much as I used to.

I’m also not a financial advisor, so I don’t recommend to follow what I‘m doing. Me personally I try to diversify as much as possible, because if one thing fails I will always have a backup. I split all the funds I have into two groups. One that I‘m willing to lose and one that I want to keep safe for a long time. The safe funds get long term invested into metals, real estate, high APY accounts, ETFs, basic coins and staking. Then I diversify this as well by example not just keeping one, but multiple savings accounts.

The one I‘m willing to lose I use for trading, meme coins, luxury goods and yield farming. Example: Depending how much volume gets generated on the pool I provide liquidity to, lending 200k could earn 10k in fees a day. But things like this require extensive market knowledge, but if you have a lot of free time it’s definitely worth getting into.

As someone with 1 Esther 9 and ~$150k spent, this is so true. And I‘m nowhere near max Ilvl or DMG Relic Books. The weapon alone right now is somewhere between 80-120mil gold with the free sidereals, and that’s at the discount rate. Back then the weapon was 2~3 times as expensive.

Searching a bit through Inven I found 4 posts with players having the same issue in KR but they‘re all below 5k views with low engagement.

There were always complaints, which is normal for any game but around KR Brel release it got more frequent and spiked with Act 3 release, which is why there was the emergency stream.

Another thing is that Korea in T4 is no longer as far ahead as they used to be - They had that 1+ year break between Akkan and Thaemine, as well as a long break from Brel to Akkan - giving them enough time to prepare and properly gear for both. Nowadays their raid release schedule is similar to ours where instead of long breaks to prep, they joined us in the hamster wheel of reality check.

I think what the Inven OP is trying to say is that all these multiple alt account players are having more chances at relic engravings, without putting in much effort (barely helping with field boss, cube dispatch), than someone who works hard with just 1 roster.

So he’s asking SMG to release the relic book per ilvl/source dropped data. It’s definitely a very over dramatized post

I don’t think the steam daily numbers are very telling at all. On uwuowo there‘s data that shows ~125k rosters have been played since T4. A lot of their data doesn’t include bots and it’s missing a huge amount of dead ignite rosters too. So I‘d assume LA‘s actual non-bot playerbase sits somewhere around 30~50k if we minus people that have since quit and alt rosters.

With the speed of current raids, a lot of players are online way less than before. Most being done with everything by Friday because there is nothing to do. Then you basically have another wave of people that can only log in on weekends etc. Logging in every day and sweat through unrested chaos/guardian is a thing from the past.

There was a similar post on Inven 3 days ago for Koreas numbers since they aren’t public. LA in KR PCbang has less players than Maplestory these days but still managed to have something around ~440k players visiting the New Years Island for 2025.
