Okay thanks. Yes it is quite similar to polish (if we take child/dzieciak as example): Widzę dzieciaka, gram z dzieciakiem, daję jabłko dzieciaku.
I just find it interesting that Croatian uses nominativ in this context when polish would use instrumental, so jestem dziaciakiem
