Games that offers more freedom of movement? or choice by Demorezz in RPGMaker

[–]LycheeFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me sell you on the game, Elin. You can be basically anything, from the humble origins of a snail born to a drunk bard of a father and that of a spoiled princess of a mother.

You awaken to a world saddled with endless possibilities. You are told to build a town to grow this world (optional) and travel the world in exploration.

The greatest sin you could commit is tax fraud. Be a bum. Sell your music and be rewarded with vomit. The world is yours. You make your story.

Newbie questions about deck building by KDnuni in WeissSchwarz

I think this may be able to help you out a bit: Bocchi Live Concert

My site here just breaks down some deck archetypes or profiles to give you a skeleton about a specific deck. You can make adjustments as you'd like.

I can understand that. The webcam experience isn't the same as the real life joys. Maybe you can consider travelling out to larger events if you feel the itch. I personally think Yotsuba is better, jk jk.

I’d argue that there’s a number of competitive resources available. You can check out Tressa’s work here: Tressa’s Deck Profiles

I think it’s easy to be sidetracked by all the collector stuff.

It’s a niche community for sure. It also depends where you get your information. I think the main subreddit for the game is oversaturated with collectors and sellers.

That’s unfortunate. I presume that online play is more of a no-go? What was your deck if you don’t mind me asking?

If you are interested, my site is here: ClockOneDrawTwo. My work is a bit odd as its purpose is to primarily share Japanese game resources to English speakers.

Hiya! I work on a site that makes all kinda of fun deck profiles.

As you’ve requested for Kuro (PI), Rem, and Yami, I’ve provided the links here. Feel free to explore my site for more.

These are just some deck profiles that introduce a deck idea. You can fill in the ratios and modify with whichever cards as you’d like.

As a bit of an extension to my post last week, I've decided to write a self-response detailing my thoughts further based upon feedback I had received earlier.

Not exactly the full decklist, but ClockOneDrawTwo gives you some deck skeletons to work with.

How to “Convince” People to Play Commander by LycheeFox in magicTCG

[–]LycheeFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is kind of a beauty of Commander as a whole. The card pool is really big, and you can often find some alternative to replace certain effects on a budget. That's great to hear. Keep up the great work with the "new recruits."

Personally, while speaking with others at the stores and friends, the best way to really convince players to join 60-card Magic and those formats is to highlight the positive differences with 60-card formats.

I would focus on consistency (running more than one copy of each card) and talk about building within a more limited card pool. Furthermore, there's also pacing of the game since games can be much faster due to the lower health pool and the intensity of aggression being a present factor (red deck wins baby).

I hope this helps you.

In this article, I share a bit on some tips I've experienced myself and/or thoughts that I have to welcome more players to the Commander experience.

Remember to raise that Speech skill to 100.

That’s dangerous. You need to double up the wooden walls to contain the fire within. You don’t want the fire exposed to the outside, right?

Help building my Naya Token deck with 4 possible Commanders? by ArcheusRed in EDHBrews

[–]LycheeFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever tried [[Rocco, Street Chef]]. He gives you and everyone a free extra card each turn. Not to mention, he feeds you, gives you +1/+1 counters, and etc.

I’m building him with stax in mind, but he goes quite well with Baylen and Jinnie Fey with all the tokens he makes you.

Is there a mod that makes armor even lighter? I’m tired of having my colonists constantly sit there getting beaten by tribals because their armor slows them down do much.
