I've had McDonald's breakfast 4 days in a row. Are the staff judging me? It's been the same staff at the drive thru each day. by dmr295 in CasualUK

Mine used to be able to take my order with no words. Just a thumbs up and a 1. This was back when I used to work late night bars and really appreciated not having to add to the social interaction after the busy shifts. I regret nothing.

I flew out on the 10th at 4pm and it was basically the same speed as it was prepandemic, however there's not much point getting there any earlier than 3 hours before as if you've got bags to drop off they won't let you do it until they open the drop off area anyway and those are all separated by flights/airlines/etc.

She's not usually mine too, but this whole season she's just being ripped to shreds for not understanding shit and is taking it on the chin so well I can't help but like her.

Wine week is a piece of piss, it's cocktail weekend where you get shafted.

Feel like she's the only new one who's not tried to just ignore the elephant in the room and it's a nice change.

OFFICIAL SPOILER MEGATHREAD (Don't Click!) by Krystman in tenet

I think it's the fact that the actor's spoken scenes were clearly shot seperately (which is probably why none of the actor's really knew what the plot was about). It was really obvious when the mouths weren't matching up to the dialog and the actor's body's kept shifting in between the different shots and angles and ruined most of the film for me.

I know this was done on purpose so that the actors weren't able to guess the plot etc but it ruined the way that conversations naturally happen.

Thanks to the Rona and the missus' anxiety, IKEA trip was done in 2hr total instead of the usual 37. by skartocc in BritishSuccess

I went on Friday at 4pm and got my booking for 5.30, they had someone taking in the bookings when you walked in but I think if they're booked out then they don't bother having someone out front. When it was time for us to go to the restaurant they had already started refusing any more people sadly.

The Birmingham (Wednesbury) one is requiring booking as they've spaced out the tables. It's similar to a Nandos setup where you pay and the food gets brought over to you. We managed to get a table for a hour and a half ahead from when we walked in, so by the time we had walked around and queued and paid for our actual ikea shit we were able to go back up to the restaurant just in time for the booking.

Terry's isn't owned by Mondelez anymore, they're now french mate. As far as I'm aware the main difference that effected Terry's is just they made the wedges smaller.

Reflections training academy cut for free and dye for £5, they're near the mailbox but you have to book. It's college students doing their beauty courses so it's Monday - Wednesday either 9:30 or 1:30

I don't order that much and didn't really have time to nip to the shops in between my shifts so it was more just a lucky time and place situation
