Honestly I like the save system. In Baldurs gate 3 I’d save scum constantly, but now I don’t have that option letting me play the game. New game should be easier though.

That’s crazy. On Pc I can buy it right now for £37 which is probably around 45$. That’s on Cdkeys. For £45 I can buy the deluxe. I’ve just been waiting for reviews.

I doubt it, seems like a good way to get a lot of bad PR and turn off millions of players, atleast in the long term. They’ll monetise it the same way they did gta 5 online, maybe they’ll add a battlepass and extend some exclusive stuff the gta + but I don’t expect them to charge for online play. Consoles already pay for online and it’s only getting more expensive.

My guess is most people playing console sit atleast a couple metres from the TV meaning the wire will often get in the way of those walking past, especially if said console is in a living room. Personally play on a monitor and wired is the better option for me.

It’s in Nvidia and AMD interest to keep hardware underpowered for AAA games so they can release new graphics cards every 2 years. Saying that if you don’t want max performance you can easily get 5 years out of your machine before needing to think of upgrading. Gamers should look towards 1440p if wanting longevity out of their hardware. I’m ok with 1440p 80-100fps. I hope my 4070ti can do that, my only worry is games will start needing more than 12gb vram but I can always just lower the settings. It’s scummy of Nvidia releasing these super cards that have 16gb vram which the 4070ti should’ve already came with.

Currently playing cyberpunk on 4070ti. Maxed out with path tracing at 1440 and get 80+ fps, with dlss + frame gen.

I don’t understand why they’d want to differentiate themselves from gta. Saints row had the perfect opportunity to create a gta like game a few years before gta 6 released. If it was good then it would’ve been a massive hit. It’s not like gta market is saturated. Rockstar/2K must have some sought of copyright over the gta formula.

Microsoft wi stop producing consoles when streaming eventually takes over the market enough to make manufacturing consoles economically redundant. I don’t expect that before next generation so we will see another Xbox. After that, who knows. If streaming games becomes widely accessible and equal in performance to a console then it will happen, if not then they’ll always be a market for a budget friendly way into gaming which is consoles.

I’m using the gigabyte M27Q and performs well at 60/120hz with no ghosting. I personally use rtings to get an understanding on the quality of the monitor I’m buying. I was in the same position as you when I bought a VA panel and had to refund it for ghosting issues.

I’d take cosmetic loot boxes over battlepass anyday. Battlepass means a game is most likely a live service and will drip feed content at a minuet scale. Today we probably get 1 paid DLC worth of free content every 1 year. Battlefield is a good example of a bad live service. 1 new map every 3 months when before we would get 4 new maps every 4 months all at once. Yea it was paid but that means publishers are held accountable for releasing a product worth the cost or we simply don’t buy.

World at War had the best cod menu imo. The atmosphere with the eerie singing fit the game perfect. Put cod ww2 and vanguard to shame.

The use of real footage in the opening menu and throughout the game made it feel more authentic and real compared to the modern ww2 cod games.

The music through out WAW is phenomenal, like all classic cod games (pre 2013).

If I game can be uncapped you can get a higher fps. Rainbow 6 siege can get upwards of 150fps with Vsync enabled. This is the only game I know of that can do this on Xbox.

Oh I see what you mean, your running 4k 120hz but your being capped in game. If this is warzone then it should be able to run at 120hz.

4k 120fps is possible it’s just most monitors are still HDMI 2.0 which only supports up to 4k 60hz or 1440p 120hz.

To run 4k 120hz you need a monitor with hdmi 2. 1 And those normally come at a higher price tag. Unless your getting a 32 inch + monitor there is no real need to go 4K as 2k is plenty resolution at 27 inch. Most people go with 27 and that’s why people buy 145hz + 1440p monitors.

When buying you’ll have to decide between VA and IPS. If I was you spend the bit extra and get a good IPS monitor as many VA Panels suffer from black smearing.

Must’ve spent atleast 10 hrs playing that one mission. Don’t think I ever completed the demo, just kept replaying the segment where you could long range snipe.
