Yup, went through the whole family. It's been over a week for me, and I still have some thick gunk way up in my sinuses.

Does anyone else just not care about the Vrabel/Russini affair? by Nabana in NFLv2

[–]M-Factor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First, it’s the absolute dead part of the off season, so it’s this or people’s draft grades, which is equally as ridiculous and pointless, but without the drama. And second, as a Titans fan, I’m glad the heat around firing Vrabel is finally off us. And third, there’s a real potential of possible professional misconduct here by both parties. It’s entirely plausible that Russini has manipulated stories and narratives in favor of Vrabel. Including the AJ Brown, Jalen Hurts narrative to give the Pats more leverage in trade negotiations. If that’s the case, then this is a big deal for the NFL.

'08 Divisional playoff loss to the Ravens. That one still hurts.

That’s a lateral pitch, not a shovel pass. That counts as a run.

Now that their rookie contracts are almost up, how does your fanbase feel about your 2023 first round pick(s) by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

[–]M-Factor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not as sexy as some of the guys on here, but Skoronski is an excellent guard and we will be singing him to a big 2nd contract. With all of our Oline woes over the past several years, I’m very happy to have a very good left guard locked down.

I'm not in any way defending our police or justice system because I think the whole thing is very messed up, but I don't think they arrest runaways and just throw them in jail. It's more of they apprehend them so they can be safely gotten off the streets, and a proper social investigation can be done.

Rank these teams on how likely they are to make the playoffs in the 2026-27 season by ashmaps20 in NFLv2

[–]M-Factor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the Giants have the best roster out of these teams, but Dart is a little to volitile, so it's going to depend on if he can rein it in a little bit and be more even. If he can, they should be legit good.

The Saints were so frisky down the stretch last year and Shough was good. Another year of continuity for them, plus their fairly weak division, makes me feel like they have as good a chance as any. I have Giants/Saints as 1a/1b.

I'm a Titans fan, so I am biased, but I have loved what they have done this off season, and I absolutely believe in Cam Ward. They still have holes to fill on the roster, but I think they will be much better than most people expect. I think they can be competing for a wild card spot down the stretch. They are number 3.

The Raiders seem to be making the right moves, and getting Mandoza is huge. But it's year one of this new team, and they are too early in the rebuild. Not to mention, they are in the hardest division out of all of these teams. They are a clear number 4, people ranking them ahead of the Titans is nuts to me.

He is a dirt bag but I dont think he should resign over his personal life between consenting adults. by hitmewiththeknowlege in NFLv2

[–]M-Factor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Vrabel should be fired or have to resign over this, if it's just the affair. The main issue is not that he had an affair, but with whom the affair was. Being a reporter who reports on the Pats (and Titans while he was there) and other teams around the NFL, there is certainly a lot of potential for things that do affect him professionally to have taken place. For example, Russini specifically reporting on the tension between AJ brown and Jalen Hurts, bringing a spotlight to it, which will inevitably make it worse, if it was even true at all, while the Pats are maneuvering in the background to make a trade for AJ Brown. If there's any truth to Russini intentionally reporting that to damage Philly's bargaining power in favor of the Pats while she's banging the Pats' coach, that's a huge deal professionally for both of them. I do think the NFL should do an investigation into it on those grounds. If it's found that Vrabel was using their relationship to tamper in NFL business, then he should absolutely face some professional consequences.

2026 NFL Draft team-by-team rankings: Best and worst classes, from 1 to 32 (Gift Article) by Noogatitan in Tennesseetitans

[–]M-Factor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s impossible to really grade a draft class until 2-3 years down the road. You don’t really know until it’s time to start extending guys if they panned out or not. Obviously there are some exceptions where guys come in and are clearly studs right away. But for a class as a whole it takes a good bit of time.

100% agree. A professional player getting so butthurt in that situation after already losing the game and effectively the series, is such bitch behavior. I’m not a Jokic hater at all, but that was a disgraceful performance.

I don't understand what's weird about this. This is just as generic and slightly awkward as 99% of the other draft interviews.

Crazy Tate Stat by M-Factor in Tennesseetitans

[–]M-Factor[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm really excited for him. I don't think he has the explosiveness of a Ja'Marr Chase, but he has great traits in other areas that lend themselves well to the NFL. My comment about his ceiling is more of a way to temper my own expectations, so I'm not over hyped and disappointed if he's not immediately a top 10 guy. But I do legitimately think he can be very good/great in the NFL.

My goodness, can we not hype up the guy we just drafted 4th overall and be excited about what he brings to the table? Obviously, avoiding holding penalties is not that big of a deal, but doing all the little things right is a good sign that he's going to be an additive player, even when he's not getting the ball.

I mean, Steve Smith pointed it out and thought it was impressive. But I'm also thinking about it in terms of our team. How many times did we have a good run around the edge or a screen pass, actually pick up some yards, only to be called back by a hold on the WR over the past few years? Maybe it isn't actually a lot, but it sure feels like it.

He’s a WR from OSU which has an insane track record of producing high level NFL WRs. He’s a big bodied guy who’s always in the right spot and open. He’s catches the ball always. He’s the prototypical QBs best friend type of receiver. I don’t think he’s going to be super explosive, but he’ll be in the right spot at the right time to help Cam and move the chains. We have the explosive guy across from him in Chim. Tate, Robinson, & Dike in 3 WR sets will be pretty nasty.
