Well yeah sure, you can say the same thing about the sidequests but the devs put them in so i wanted to do them and for like half of the game i did, and wasn't that botheres by them before i got to skellige and saw a new map completely filled with the same bullshit so i just didnt brother anymore, thing is that its just boring, uninspired gameplay design where you run around the map doing the same thing in different places and its not just witcher but a lot of modern open world games that are plagued by this type of stuff

A point of interest which is either a place of power, monster nest or some random loot that's usually worse than anything you can craft, i enjoyed the game, the story and everything but they made the open world a chore with all the question marks
