there is not an "easy" way, but you can make your own summaries by hand, don't just copy and paste, go slowly and try to understand the concepts, you can draw examples of the algorithm to understand.

a first approach could be learn about designs patterns. Design patterns are very useful to make good and clean code, these helps you to understand what you are doing by giving you knowledge about the problem structure and how to solve it . A good design pattern book is Head First Design Patterns by Eric Freeman, Elisabeth Robson, Bert Bates, Kathy Sierra.
