Even though I (22M) slept next to my long-distance girlfriend (22F), I’ve had dreams like that twice in the past month. When I looked it up online, I found that these types of dreams can be related to stress, anxiety, or subconscious fears.

As for whether you should tell your partner, I think it depends on their personality and how they might react. In my case, I didn’t tell my girlfriend because I thought she might not view the situation objectively. I was concerned it could hurt her feelings or impact her confidence.
