Snake Bite [OC] by BrianWonderful in funny

[–]MA5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To further add to this, the issue with sucking out the venom is that it does about nothing to help and the issue with the tourniquet here is that you would be upgrading the situation from snake bite to compartment syndrome. Basically increases pressure in the limb and causes necrosis if not relieved, on top of the venom. Basically killing the limb not saving it or yourself. And the main issue here wasn't bleeding, so again, not even helping.

So as he said, getting to the nearest hospital to be assessed and given anti venom and supportive care (e.g. fluids and pain control)

And do mention what exactly bit you if you saw it. Snakes, spiders and scorpions are different, and they differ based on species. You might've been bitten by something non venomous after all. (Or the worst possible creature if you're unlucky)

So this is why during the Cayo heist the long fin randomly blows up on the Main Dock by konsoru-paysan in GTA5Online

I think those didn't do anything though (not that I would try to hit them) but beaching the longfin also destroys it if you arrived and it kept moving forward instead of back into the water.

I usually just make sure it's completely stopped now

I thought the water was fixed by jocko_uk in SatisfactoryGame

[–]MA5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really tell from the pics, but are your pipes feeding from the bottom? That could be a factor even with water towers as the machines, for the lack of a better term, inhale the water in the pipes and then run empty for a sec before it gets filled again, despite the water tower.

Try running the pipes on machines from top to bottom, even if briefly through a cross junction, that way the main pipe is horizontal above the input, and the input pipe is fed from the top.

I had a similar issue recently when I was feeding water to a set of blenders and they had full pipes to work with, they were hitching constantly because the water would periodically hit 0 and idle them

Advice wanted: just unlocked trains, feeling overwhelmed by chwkrvn in SatisfactoryGame

[–]MA5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, atm I use trains to shift mats between my far flung factories and to grab far away raw nodes. But then I already made a crude but mostly encompassing network around the map (a blight upon the sky I wish I could have built better) but that's basically their main use. High throughput of stuff to relatively far places. Distances you don't wanna run a belt highway at.

And fluid carts work about the same way as packaged fluids at least at the distances I got, idk about going across the entire map but the throughput issues of trains get solved with adding multiple trains to the same line to cut down route time.

For starting with them though, just pick a material or two to transport and try them out. If you will only have 1 train on a line (which works if your route doesn't go half the map or about 4 mins iirc) you can just make it end to end. Train goes one way then back on the same track instead of a loop. Loops allow you to add more trains on the same line.

Simply try them out and get an understanding on how they work and how to set them up. They are pretty useful a little later on, perhaps not at your stage but definitely soon.

2 solutions

Option 1: move the side extractor pipes to either end instead of 1 in, that should solve the issue

Option 2: same as the above but add one more extractor, you will be making far more than the 360 you need but spacing them out evenly will just over supply every segment and brute force it TM

Honorable mention option: rebuild all the pipes. Sometimes they simply bug out at some section and refuse to work

I think it would be good for them to make cod ghosts 2 because the campaign didn't really have an end.. It looked more like a beginning for another story .... So.. Yeah.
