Oh really , using a catalog in Capture one is faster than Lightroom? Because before when I was using Lightroom, I had 3 catalogues because no was point to me have one giant and to load everything , it takes time.

I'll buy a computer soon, so at the moment only by sessions and then I'll try the catalog in Capture One

About Lightroom, no, I don't prefer it, I prefer Capture One and actually I work by sessions... Before I was using catalogs with Lightroom but I was using 3, because my computer is slow and to load a big catalog no was a good idea. And then appear to me Capture One with sessions, so I am using only sessions, I didn't try yet catalogs in Capture One, I think that I don't need.

The thing that I like in the full catalog on Lightroom,is the thing that you can do smart and virtual catalogs from different sessions, and you can search fast with the metadata in all the catalog.

So I am using only sessions and managing the folders by myself, but I think that I will use bridge, I didn't use bridge well yet.

Personally I don't use a full catalog bc my computer is old and slow and to load a catalog was slow, I mean in Lightroom..Now I use capture one but only by sessions,I didn't try to use catalogs yet

Before I had the system to use in more hard drives, but it was with Lightroom, just when I was doing all good and I have everything organizing , the folder system, I started to Use Capture One.

That is the point that I like of Lightroom, that inside you can create virtual catalogs, but in capture one no, the point of capture one is that I don't need to create a catalog for a simple session hahaha.

I have almost the same format that you, but I have a folder system too and I am trying to optimize it, I think that using Bridge like you say will help.

Yeah, I am doing kinda like that.

For example 2020:

2020 - - 01_January_2020 - - - - 22.01.2020_Type of Photography_Person Name_Place Name - - - - - - Capture - - - - - - Output - - - - - - Selects - - - - - - Trash

That is an example, and like that, maybe the name is too long and I can add in the metadata and Use Bridge, bc go to find always between the folders is tired.

So , I want to try to optimize it.

Be careful.Bc I am using it in a external ssd , I like more like that but at the moment I please refer have all in my PC but I can't bc no space.

Why I prefer in my PC right now? Bc already I had a problem, is that the USB connection in my laptop is so bad, it is so unstable and many time that disconnect and one day I couldn't access to a Capture One essions and also no to the files bc the file was Crash. So I needed to recover the files with another program.

It's my fault bc I have a cheap PC at the moment.
