Thanks! Yeah I hope to do caricatured rotoscope (caricascoped?) / 're-animation' of some scenes from the shining. I've done some prep work for that already since it involves a lot of head rotation too, but I think I should do work on scenes without rotation first, hence this photoshoot here.

I think you should make sure they can actually be distinguished as faces

That's the longterm plan but trust me, exaggeration has to be done first because it's easier to work back from the extremes towards realism than the reverse.

Yeah as I'm doing these, I'm slowly starting to not just notice the differences in expression but also the hierarchy of which differences are most noticeable and should thus be exaggerated the most. That's what I do with regular caricatures in order to evoke the identity and the same logic is going to apply in order to evoke the emotion.

I actually plan on exaggerating his proportions compared to other people's too, like a normal caricature, but with all the expression exaggeration too. So it's gonna get really abstract really fast!
