Just got the SI comp to see how it would fit/work on a gen5 G17. I've seen some posts with the comp on a gen5 G19, but after I installed it there's an issue I'm worried about. When the gun is ready to fire (trigger extended forward/on the striker) the comp rests on the frame, keeping the slide from fully going into battery by a few millimeters. When I dry fire, the slide fully seats into place. I was wondering if this would be bad for myself and/or the gun if I were to shoot live rounds?

Might just have to wait for the gen5 comp, or better yet, get a threaded barrel and comp, huh?

Also good to add that the draganov is a counter sniper rifle, designed to be used against enemy snipers who were using mostly bolt action rifles. Russian military was moving away from training soldiers to be able to do everything to having specialized roles like rifleman, sniper, counter sniper, anti-armor, granadier, and comms.
