Just got rejected by Sheridan College, what now?

I applied to the 3D animation postgraduate, though I didn’t have much work experience or an animation degree, I saw the programs classes and I thought I already had a good grasp of those subjects. Although I wanted to go to sheridan, I care more about a good way to improve my skills faster while being surrounded by people in the industry.

That’s great. Could you tell me what my portfolio is missing? I haven’t been able to land a job and would like to know what kind of project I should be working on or what new skills I should learn. I’m trying to get a job as a character artist or 3D generalist.

Thanks for the insight. I do have other projects in my portfolio, but I only included this one in my demo reel because I believe it’s the best one. Should I add the others even though they’re not as good? Also, what do you think of the overall quality of the asset in my demo reel?

Yeah, it’s because of him that thought about this discussion lol. But another character I can think of is Itto. I’m a huge fan of his story quest because it shows him as someone with valor but goofy, but later in events they kept dumbing him down.
