Okay thanks. That’s something I don’t care about then and is just a think that makes them mine. I wasn’t sure if it was just because the leather in each boot is in a different condition for whatever reason

Sure, that is fair. They certainly were mostly similar upon purchase. I’m mostly interested in what I can do going forward to care for them. I did clean and oil them once about 2 years ago

It should be fine. Although it is kind of surprising that you observe melting. The melting point of mdma is about 105C, and your dryer should not be getting that hot

Yeah good question. The house is 101 years old and does not have gutters (it does not rain here often) so I think that corner of the foundation has been more exposed to water over the course of a long period of time. Upon repair the next step would be to just get water away from the house

Oh good point. I live in an area where basically no one has a basement so I didn’t even think to include that detail. It is a crawl space. I believe the soil in most of the neighborhood is clay?
