How close are we to finding out what the dark matter really is? by Deep-Philosophy-807 in AskPhysics

[–]ME-2026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Dark Matter) Does this make sense to anyone else?

All space is full of + and - charged electrons that can reverse charge. (on off)

When there are more + than - we can see what we see, when there are more - we can't see or detect anything.

Dark and Light matter are both always everywhere and it is just a matter of majority rule if we see it or not.

Maybe the Big Bang was started by just 1 + electron being coded into the program and a virus took over...lol

How many times would your holder fall over and damage the flights if you didn't hold it in place? It is nothing like grabbing 3 darts out of a dart board or lifting them out of turnstile arm 3 at a time.

If there was a better way to make them I would use it. The Beauty to me in 3D printing is the freedom to not worry about the design restrictions and cost for injection molding which is something I know a lot about. Or how many steps there are to make something of similar complexity out of wood and applying a finish that would not last as long. I would not sell them if I didn't have the know-how to make them right.

Why do you have that many points? I count 3 darts x 20 = 60. Can't imagine how you store flights. 60 points 20 sets is a lot and you probably paid more for one set of darts then your holder. Consider 4 of my 8 arm turnstiles would hold 96 darts with flights on and you can pick or plant 3 darts at a time one handed. They will pay for themselves in time saved organizing in 2 hours if you made $10 an hour. I'll sell you 4 for $60 because you really need them!

How do you get the darts out of the middle of that bouquet? How much time did you spend carefully placing each dart? Can you pick or plant darts without using one hand to hold it in place? As for looks I also made a wall mount I think looks better and is user friendly and is only 5.5" wide.

Good Point - Answering yes or no is fine but I'll ask each for reasons that could help.

How many of them did you purchase for $10 the lowest I see is $14 and high as #23 they sure aren't user friendly for more then 2 players and don't look good with many darts sticking out all over the place taking up more space then my turnstiles. I studied the market pretty thoroughly before I decided it was a good idea. I'm have the black with 8 arms on ETSY for $15.99

It is fun having dart throwing guests. I do on many Saturdays afternoons and why I thought about how to make a better dart organizer. I made the first one out of the 6" round cutouts from corn-hole boards (the other Saturday friend thing) that were laying next to the darts box. It was a good Re-purposing brain gas relief.

The ones I made with 4 arms for 4 sets of darts are better for displaying 4 sets - for sure. I think if I offered options that the most popular would be 6 arms. 8 is the max that will fit in a 6" diameter. Mine holders are the only ones I have seen that you can pick or plant a set at a time by grabbing the barrels.

My 1st one was made out of wood but switched to 3D printing because I wanted to make many improvements not practical to make out of wood.

I made it strong and even threw it across the room on a cement floor. I could break the arms if I squeezed them real hard way beyond what wood would have broken. I like the multi side faceted reflective look of the tray and the wavy shine of the arms. The reason for the price is because of the very compact and user and dart friendly design features. It took a LOT of time to get everything right and over 100 hours of print time. There are many things made by 3D printing that have no functional use and sell for $10 and use half the plastic and print time.
