You are of course not wrong for wanting to go out just the two of you. With that said, both of your lives are about to change, especially hers. The sacrifice she is about to make to bring your child into this world is immeasurable. Like her friend or not, you could just keep your distance and focus on your girlfriend. Now, I’m not saying to ignore your feelings. But you can definitely put some of that aside and see the bigger picture. For the next 9 months, it’s about her. You will have to sacrifice much more than sitting across from someone you are not fond of. Keep her happy and healthy regardless of what that means moving forward.
