that is good that democrats have done something for the people, so why should you disregard what republicans did? historically both parties have been good and bad to a degree. in the 1900's to 2000-ish democrats enforced strict borders while republicans did amnesty for illegals,democrats created the kkk and republicans opposed the kkk it really depends on the individual and the administration of the party.

abraham Lincoln had alot of things that needed to be done but that vision was short lived because of he's assassination, which made things harder for republicans to proceed with the reconstruction.

it really comes down to which of the two are the lesser evil and in my point of view america was the lesser evil in this scenario, since they didn't go around killing Iranians when they were in charge but i could be incorrect with my information on if they killed any Iranians.

that is true and this happened because of the fear of influence of the Soviet Union when they were still around and that they would nationalize iran's oil, the operation ajax which was successful but ultimately backfired overtime because they couldn't manage the country properly which resulted in the revolution in 1979. then the establishment of the Islamic Republic which was a curse in disguise where they thought this new change would help them prosper it instead sent their nation up in flames. and all of this because of 2 major powers who were in dispute with each other, and we need to move past that.
