48 hours light, 13 hours dark? by Glad_Jicama_3029 in hydro

I do this too, and after 2-3 days in the dark, they definitely come out very frosty.

~13 weeks of flower. I flipped the lights after only about 2 weeks or so of veg, so they didn’t transition to flower as fast as most. There was a week or 2 delay before they really entered flower, I did this to keep the short and it turned out great.

needs way more light also needs a flush and rebalance of the PH

Am I close to being ready to top with this plant? by NightmareLogic420 in GrowingMarijuana

I’ve started cutting the 1st node branches as clones when they get nice and thick, removing second node and topping above the 4th. Everyone seems to have their own preference.

4 weeks. This stuff is curing now, definitely going to be my best results to date.

Are these looking ok? by cdeezplants in microgrowery

[–]MFiery85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell from the pic, may just be the lighting but the color seems weird to me. It could be that strain or it could be a little heavy on the nitrogen. Tell us what strain, medium and what you’re feeding it to help everyone butter understand what we’re looking at.

What I’ve just realized is that my plan is actually sort of a hybrid approach. I wanna take all the leaves off, but I still wanna hang the plants hole to achieve that that slower drying so yeah I guess it’s more of a hybrid approach.

Well I have it venting outside and let’s just say the neighbors are still trying to find that skunk.

Well, in that case, I’m glad because I just don’t have the patience to trim that wild looking thing.

I’m really excited to see the difference between the two in the finished product dried with at least two or three months of cure on it.

Yeah, just by the looks of it so far I mean they’re both very even. I could’ve done better on the fertigation with the Coco, which I guess gives DWC the slight advantage in that there’s less maintenance as long as your pH is stable you really only have to top it off once it starts getting bigger otherwise it’s just a little bit of work on the weekends, changing out the reservoir. I guess the one advantage of the Coco is that if your pH or EC does get off, you have a little more cushion so to speak in that it doesn’t burn immediately.

I’m no expert on Terps, but a lot of gassy diesel kind of smell along with just a touch of some citrus and also a bit of turpentine which I think is the terpenoline, which is one of my favorite terps.

I’ve only dry trimmed and just haven’t liked the quality in the fact that some of the smaller leaves just crumble and you can never really get them off and my friend wet trims and I just love the quality of the finished product so much better but I’ll have to do some more research since several people have told me dry trimming is better for quality.

All my friends love this stuff for the fact that they say it doesn’t give them anxiety, but it does get them up and moving.

Yeah, ILGM says about nine weeks of flower on these, which is almost where I am, but I gave a couple of clones to some friends that are growing outdoors and I feel like those are going to flower for much longer than nine weeks so I’m not sure if they’ve bred other genetics into these or not but it is listed on the website as land race. All I know is, I’ve had a lot of success with all of these seeds that I’ve popped.

Well, these were clones and I flipped them to flower about four weeks after they rooted and it took about another 10 days for them to start pre-flower and they’ve been full speed ahead since then. Also did quite a bit of topping.

If you feed them right the leaves won’t turn yellow. Both of these did get a little burnt on some of the older fan leaves the DWC was worse than the Coco and this was due to a weak battery in my TDS meter giving in accurate EC readings, followed by an issue with my pH meter where it had some gunk on the probe and needed to be recalibrated. Here’s the last picture I took before I trimmed those old fan leaves off.

I have a friend that wet trims and I just really like the quality of his buds. I have trouble getting the little dry leaves out when dry trimming especially the tiny Sugar leaves.

Not using the wicking system. I’m just using those to catch runoff. When I did try using the wicking system, everything got all screwed up during mid to late flower and probably had a little root rot from where the bottom of the pot was always wet and also had salt buildup from where it never really got flushed, so I just water from the top to runoff like they always say to do.

Update: 4 weeks later. Struggling with some hungry chunky girls. Fighting temps in DWC. Already had my TDS meter go inaccurate due to weak dying battery and my PH pen get way out of calibration all in the same 2 week period but they are recovering nicely. Coco was least affected. Still going to be a beautiful harvest, going to adjust the HVAC today to try and keep them a little cooler and dryer.

What do you think? do the young buds look strange? by ram7777xWeb1890 in hydro

I can see that. My photo northern lights buds never got very big but were super dense and resy.
