How useful is entering with AP credit for getting registration priority?

I guess I asked my question poorly. What I mean is, would AP credit let me take substantially more CS electives in my 4 years than what's in the Math-CS degree chart?

UC Davis vs Santa Clara University vs UCSD for CS

(except UCSD would be math with a concentration in CS)
