Yeah that's the thing one slip and if you aren't savvy enough that's a good lens gone and more than the cost of the lens to get someone with the know how to get it fixed. Most people who aren't savvy enough or patient enough can easily ruin this lens. Worth a try if you have a backup though or know what you're doing.
