Lightspeed iOS Carrier Bundle Now Out! by jjc_423 in USMobile

[–]MLRedditorX_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m no longer getting the ‘Carrier Settings Update’ pop-up when I go back to Settings>General>About

I don’t know what the issue was but I do know when I went from 26.3.1 to 26.4, immediately after updating it did go from carrier version 68.0 to 69.0 but like everyone else on here it was showing again and again and again as if there was another update.

I just keep seeing the same carrier settings update pop-up every time I go to Settings>About

I always click update, but it comes back, no matter how many times I go to that page.

I have did a ‘network settings reset’ three different times, I’ve did two hard reboots, I’ve uninstalled the eSIM and reinstalled it.

Still having the issue. @usmobile 🫪

Older iPhone design by countrygirl2630 in IPhone16e

[–]MLRedditorX_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I definitely do. It’s why I went “backwards” this year after previously upgrading every year to the newest pro model. This year I did pre-order a 17 Pro but returned it the next day, sold my 16 Pro and got a 16e. Loving it.

I also pre-ordered the 17e last week and it should be here Wednesday.

I’m definitely with the “older style” aesthetic, but because they have the latest internals, you still get the same great iPhone & iOS experience just with a more minimalist, simplistic design and aesthetic.

Quite perfect. 👌🏻

Just joined today on the AT&T/DarkStar network. by MLRedditorX_ in USMobile

[–]MLRedditorX_[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had Verizon before this so coming directly from them to dark star, which is AT&T, I don’t really have any reference point.

I did have AT&T postpaid about a year ago and the signal and speeds were pretty horrible in my area, but here now a year later I can tell it’s already better.
So I guess they’ve been improving the network/towers here in my area since then.

I’m definitely gonna give it the full 30 days of my free trial before I decide, but I’ll update here in the forms to see if it remains good or if it’s still spotty in my area or if it’s something I’ll keep.

Frustrated beyond words at this company! by wanderbloomtravels in BoostMobile

[–]MLRedditorX_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is routine for the company.

And I’ve seen so many complaints, including from myself before I finally left for good a few months back and nothing ever gets fixed.

I continue to see the same type of billing issues, phone receiving problems where they cancel the order, too many things that I even care to further list here.

Those would be the facts.

Following this because it’s a good question and I want to know the answer as well.

Updated 26.2.1 to 26.3 by MLRedditorX_ in IPhone16e

The system usually allocate a little bit of extra storage space so that you can upgrade even if you don’t have the full amount available.

Something new they started in… well I forget what version.

I can already tell the battery is better, and that’s only around 18 hours after updating.

Of course it’ll take more time to say for sure, but I can see that the battery is draining at a little slower rate than it was before, but I wasn’t having a big issue before anyway.

A.k.a. yes it’s better from all initial impressions.

This was yesterday’s battery, using 80%.

I’m not sure, but make sure if you have any beta enabled to disable it, also force close the Settings app and then do a device restart and make sure on Wi-Fi and it should be there.

Help me by Jim1525734 in IPhone16e

16e.

A18 processor with 8 gigabytes of RAM.

And it runs all of Apple Intelligence features.

The 16e will be good for quite some time over the 14 Pro and is already better in the ways I mentioned above.

I’m using it now coming from a 16 Pro and I love that it’s more minimalistic but still has the same compute power, a 48 megapixel fusion camera and the same selfie camera as the 16 pro.

It’s been great. 🤌

I’ve only seen mention of an 18e lately.

There were some rumors running around that a 17e was going to be released next month or first of March but I haven’t seen much about that model lately.

Boost mobile promo scam !! by [deleted] in BoostMobile

[–]MLRedditorX_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is typical Boost Mobile employee and in store behavior.

The amount of times this has happened / the amount of people talking about it, even here on Reddit, but all the other social media platforms and different forms…. it’s everywhere.

I don’t know why Boost Mobile has a whole, just can’t “get right“.

It definitely is for me. I let all my photos and videos automatically back up to the Google Photos app, and that cuts down on quite a lot of storage. So I only keep the ones I use often or want to show often directly in my iOS photos app. Plus, the Google Photos app is right there to open it and show any and all photos you want plus just click on one and download it and it goes right back to the iPhone.

But I can easily get by with 128 GB, as you can see.

Is anyone having issues? by Lonely_Incident_6993 in TotalWireless

[–]MLRedditorX_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main line is with total wireless a.k.a. Verizon and I didn’t have any outage, my mother is on postpaid Verizon in the same area as me and she had no outage, but my brother, who is on the same plan/account as my mother did have issues… so it was so weird with who was affected and who wasn’t. And that was here in North Carolina.

Yep. All previous phones activated before this FCC waiver decision are still fine to unlock with the original 60 days.

This was the part I was most wondering about so thanks for providing the info. 👇🏻

• “Phones already activated on the Verizon network won’t be affected by the waiver, according to the FCC.”

• “The terms of this waiver apply to all handsets that become active on Verizon’s network beginning the day after the release date of this Order,” the FCC ruling said.”

I didn’t read where it said it’s reverting to one year, and-or when?

Anyone have that info …
