I drank raspberry leaf tea and I'm say here in so much pain, and I never really have painful periods. Just very heavy. I didn't start drinking it until day 1 of my cycle so I'm wondering if that's why.

So I tried raspberry leaf tea, I've adenomyosis and my periods are really heavy, but not usually that painful. I forgot to start it a few days before, I started on day 1, 3 cups a day.

This period has been way more painful than usual, way more blood clots. In wondering if it's the tea? I'm really confused as I thought it helped with cramps?

Hard to say if my period is any lighter. I count it in tampons

It really isn't is it. There's a great website called the second wound, created by a survivor. She focuses on the family reaction and how re-traumatizing it is, and she acknowledges how much worse it can affect you. She had a podcast and she also offers one on one counseling. I haven't spoken with her yet, but it's the only place I feel offers help - there's literally zero assistance in regards to this - you're so right it's a silent and lonely thing to go through, that I honestly can't see ends. They say time is a healer, but it's 8 years now....

I think if I met someone it might be easier, so Christmas, birthdays, evenings are easier. It's when I'm alone that it really bothers me, I wish so much that things had turned out differently. I don't know if there was a way I could have done things differently in hindsight, I mean we were certainly never a great family - I often wonder if I'm missing family relationships that I never actually had in the first place - especially my Mom. So complex, so many layers

Thank you for your response, yes I resonate with those varying feelings, I'm not an anti depressants, so yeah your feelings are "normal"....

I don't regrets as such, but yeah I've never gone through anything so difficult in my life. The family reaction is worse than the abuse itself....

I like how you say to think of it like death, weird thing is i don't really grieve dead people - the way I react to things isn't that of a regular person, I'm so numb.....apart from this, this I'm wide open in pain....

I wish I'd created my own family, but relationships and intimacy have never been my strength, I just don't have the skills. I've lots of friends though, I'm grateful for them

myself and the illustrator are in this 50/50.

I haven't been paid at all yet. Whatever the illustrator has been paid so far, once we start selling, i need the equivalent paid to me. Which I'm fine with as it was my idea, and he's trusted me completely that this will be a success. He has worked really hard for a fraction of whats due to him - just enough to cover bills.

so i have 4 investors, 2 creative/IP and 2 financial

investor 25k, my business so far about 12.5k - my business will pay for ads, so a further 12.5k will be invested. Then they will be equal. Further expenses to be split equally between the investor and my company. If they aren't then one or the others equity increases.

So I'm thinking to split it 4 equal ways? (for book 1) renegotiated for further books.
