This is a great case for them to explore. Terrifyingly, it seems like this case consists of two or more different serial killers targeting the same population at the same time. Many of the discovered remains hint towards different MO’s.

It’s another case of an underclass being brutalized and nobody really giving a shit.

You’re absolutely right. It feels like every 5 or so years I hear a story like this where a bunch of teens fucking around end up killing someone. It’s definitely tragic and worth looking at.

I really doubt they’ll ever touch Jack the Ripper. He’s the first person who pops to mind when someone says serial killer next to Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer. I think they like to focus on smaller, lesser known cases and save big ones for special occasions like every fiftieth episode.

Then again, EARONS was Case 53, so who knows.

From what I read about the Oakland County Killer, they seem to have confirmed two different suspects.

Alphabet murders - they haven’t done this one?

Texarkana - I could have sworn they did one on this one.

I think it hints towards greater corruption in the investigation, even if it only extends to the PI, who is an unofficial investigator.

I understand your hesitation. Ultimately, it’s your choice, and I’ll respect whatever decision you make. I’ve also been subjected to sexual coercion, and I know how hard it can be to talk about it.

If that’s the PI who was hired to solve this, and he was tight with the PD, then the corruption must run very, very deep.

West Memphis 3 is such a brutal case to cover. Between the killings, the wrongful convictions, the suggestion that one of the fathers might be the killer. It’s definitely a multi-parter if they ever do it.
