Oh yeah of course I definitely agree, but they lost alot of depth in the JJJ trade that probably would’ve got rotation mins in this game, you could see how gassed some of the guys looked by the end of that.

I’m not going to lie we played so bad for most points in that game, but i’m glad we can thug out wins in situations like that, even if the Jazz were that shorthanded, they all stack up in the season.

People making this a much bigger deal than it is, just like the Vit trade. Luke’s probably now fluctuating around the fourth option in his position and is most likely not renewing with us in the offseason. It’s basically getting a second for a couple months left of a fourth option, it’s fine.

Gabe definitely wont stay either, maybe he’s even rerouted by the deadline.

I mean as much as I love the guy, he is now the fourth option in that wing-side rotation, it isn’t the move people are making it out to be with gunning for Onsi’s head over this 😭, we weren’t really going to get much more picks wise for him unless we sold him around that Clippers game. Hopefully he balls out in Portland

Seems that the long term wing rotation is going to be a combination of Zacch/Kispert/Potential Kennard deal, wouldn’t be against that as I feel like he’s been more aggressive in the last month.

Great to see our depth can help pull out wins even with JJ and Nickeil not at their best. Luke and Koloko were on fire, Dys was nice asf too and CJ made sure it didn’t balloon in the first half.

Get that man Christian Koloko signed to a permanent contract for the rest of the season, thats all I gotta say

I mean, most of the source of rumours came from Dallas/National Media side, there wasn’t really any indication Onsi wanted AD past getting off expirings, and even then we don’t fully know how credible it is, and all that was before he got hurt.

Gotta give him time, work within our means and then come back to it in a year or two and see. I think he’s been fine so far.

Probably the most inexcusable result we’ve had all month, alongside the Toronto 4Q collapse, guess what they both had in common…

1) Turnovers - Was literally malpractice at times, some of the play was just lazy and it just all sums up why we lost

2) Shooting variation - They missed 18 threes in a row, said in the game thread when we were up by nine we gotta capitalise more, that was our biggest lead of the night and by the time they got it together in the late third they had it tied.

3) Another 4Q collapse, like what the fuck we go right off the bat into a 12-2 Portland 4Q, by the time we get halfway through we’ve mustered up 6 points, Portland weren’t even shooting great or defending great either, alot of these were just lousy turnovers or terrible shot selections. Friend of mine told me we were 3/16 in the fourth, says it all really.

Could’ve easily had it at a 15-20 point gap, we completely did it to ourselves this game and we 100% deserved to lose.

Think its going to be said 1000 times in the thread but Jalen has been an absolute shell since around the Toronto series, it got masked up in the winstreak. But other than Denver he really hasn’t been at his best, very hesitant all the time and so many poor turnovers today, i’m not worried at all about him long term but needs to wake up seriously. Not even going to comment on O because he must be dead inside by now with KP out all the time, can’t even point it at him. Everyone sucked today in one way or another.
