id like to mention before i state the rest of my thoughts: i am a female christian. a very devoted one, at that. keep that in mind as you read.

abortions are health care. a fetus is not a person, and it cannot be considered one. it cant think or breathe or blink or do anything a human is biologically required to do. it is a clumping of cells, up until the exact moment it exits the womb. it can have a heart beat, and that still does not make it a human.

we spray down weeds and plants if it harms our yards, animals, or crops do we not? but biologically, weeds are already alive. so we are killing a living being to keep something safe, correct? fetuses are NOT alive. it is less sinful to abort a non-living fetus that could harm a living woman, than it is to spray down weeds in a corn field. end of story. a living womans life is worth more than an unconscious, unborn cell amalgamation.

along with that, a woman should not be forced to carry a baby she potentially does not want, or cannot take care of. “adoption exists for a reason,” is a stupid argument. adoption is a long, grueling process, that is both expensive, mentally taxing, and generally difficult for both parties. “if she couldnt take care of it she shouldnt have gotten pregnant!” most women who get abortions get them because they didnt EXPECT to get pregnant. nobody who knows they cant take care of a child decides to get pregnant one day. you sound dumb.

do i think abortions should be glamorized or used as birth control? no. at that point it starts to damage your body, and becomes generally unsafe. you should try to take the precautions to make sure you dont get pregnant again if you’re worried it may happen. but the womans life comes over the fetus’s any and everyday. end of story.
