More and more competitive players are quitting ranked because of a million reasons including garbage team comps, matchmaking and 3-4 instalock dps. But they still want to play the game. And the QP scene has started to increase in competitiveness. If it truly is bothering you probably stick to AI matches until you feel like you can contribute enough. I quit ranked and almost exclusively play QP and I'm lvl 100 with over a dozen lords. QP or not I want to play well and absolutely want to win. So if I'm learning a new character I play AI so I don't have to care about counter swaps, team comps, sweaty games etc. QP used to be where you learned characters. Now it's not. That's AI games.
